As a Service Engineer, you'll play a vital role in the Operation and Maintenance activities of the Battery Energy Storage System in Taiwan. Reporting to the Service Manager, your responsibilities will include executing and overseeing O&M tasks with a customer-centric and results-driven approach, supporting our key client in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform scheduled preventive and corrective maintenance activities on-site, including electrical and minor mechanical work, in compliance with regulations and standards;
• Work effectively with other maintenance and production team members, including contractors; if needed, overseeing their work and assuming responsibility for lockout/tagout procedures;
• Assist clients with technical inquiries and perform fault finding and resolving issues in RMUs, Low Voltage, and Control systems to ensure the reliability of the BESS. Ensure the correct execution of the fieldwork according to NHOA procedures and risk assessments;
• Contribute to the improvement of service processes and procedures by providing valuable feedback from the field;
• Maintain methodical and precise documentation, logbooks and handover checklists, ensuring quality and accuracy in all records related to the operation and maintenance in the Taiwan projects, in accordance with company/customer guidelines;
• Participate in training courses as required.

Requirements:

• Background in the energy sector, micro-grid or static power conversion system (inverters);
• Previous experience in installation, maintenance, repair and troubleshooting on electrical cabinet and control system;
• Basic knowledge SCADA and PLC control systems;
• Valid driver's licence;
• Able to travel frequently.

Location:

You will be based in Taipei, with availability to mid-long term periods on site (Heping district/Suao/LinYuan and any other district in Taiwan or China where it is needed the presence of the Service Team)
