What we are looking for As a Global Customer Offering Data Scientist, you’ll be in charge of providing specific insights gained from analyzing company data, to influence business decisions. You’ll be responsible of building up a structured set of usable dashboards through an extensive use of data mining/data analysis methods and tools, building and implementing models, using algorithms and running simulations, with the final aim to extract business insights and optimize offering and sales revenue performance, through a holistic approach on data analysis (product sales, price elasticity, seasonality, competitive benchmark), KPI monitoring and dedicated reporting.
Responsibilities - Mine and analyse data from multiple databases to drive optimization and improvement of business insights
- Translate data insights into compelling and to the point recommendation and output for marketeers and other stakeholders using advanced excel and Power BI
- Lead regular product/pricing/revenue analyses, KPI monitoring & reporting
- Extract data to create ad-hoc analyses that enable deeper understanding of specific business questions
- Create and design data flows starting from a data warehouse having a clear understanding of data structure and joint implementation using SQL language (Python is a plus)
- Design, Build and Maintain Business KPI dashboards starting from raw and non-homogeneous data, to ensure data quality, enrichment and readability.
What you'll need
You're the right person if you: - hold a University Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering
- have a previous relevant experience (3-5 years) in working with large data sets and building statistical models and dashboards
- have advanced skills in Excel (pivot, macro, statistics formulas), Power BI or other BI systems/data analysis tools
- have advanced skills in SQL Language (Python is a plus)
- have strong analytical skills, mathematic abilities and business acumen, being able to translate complex data into meaningful insights
- are a team player with excellent relationship skills both with internal/external stakeholders, including strong influencing skills
- speak English fluently and would like to work with multicultural and dynamic teams
- are willing to travel
